Prospects for the supply of soybean oil to South Korea

On September 28, the first batch of refined soybean oil in bulk produced by the "Soya ANK" Oil Extraction Plant was shipped to Korea.
Already in early October, Lotte International, the largest South Korean company, received the first flexitank with a volume of 21.5 tons and confirmed the high quality of the oil.
To date, the second batch of 60 tons is being prepared for shipment.
The ANK plant production capacity is 200 tons per day, 70 thousand tons of soybeans per year.
The enterprise is equipped with the most up-to-date equipment and technologies allowing to produce a higher quality product.
The products of the plant are actively sold in Russia, as well as successfully exported to China, Japan and Vietnam.
"The main advantage of Amur agricultural products is the complete absence of genetically modified organisms. This is prohibited by law, therefore, it guarantees the environmental friendliness of the product.
This is not the first time that a Korean company has been cooperating with Russia’s Far East regions", – company representatives comment.
According to the regional government's website information published on Tuesday, "ANK-Holding" LLC from the Amur Region became the first in Russia to sign a multi-year contract for the supply of soybean oil to Vietnam.

The agro-industrial complex is one of the main ones in the economy of the Amur Region. Until 1990, more than 70% of the total volume of Russian soybeans was grown in the Amur Region, nowadays – over 40%. Legumes are one of the main exports of the region. According to the information on the website, currently, soybean oil from the Amur Region is delivered to the regions of Russia’s Far East, Central Russia, as well as to China.

"The day before in Hanoi (Vietnam), negotiations were held between representatives of the Amur manufacturing company - "ANK-Holding" LLC with official distributors who are ready to import soybean oil produced in the Amur Region. As a result of the negotiations, a multi-year contract for the supply of soybean oil under the "Amur Pearl" brand to Vietnam was signed. According to customs records, the Amur company became the first in Russia to conclude such an agreement", – the statement says.
The latter also specifies that these products will soon be sold in Vietnam supermarkets - to the retail market, as well as through large retail chains and wholesale channels.

As the Head of Marketing Department of "ANK-Holding" LLC Maksim Malyshev informed TASS, the supply contract was signed for five years with the possibility of extension - that is, it will be extended if the company fulfilled a number of conditions during this period.
For example, the conditions for brand development and compliance with the sales volume of the products in Vietnam. Soon, the first 26-tons batch of oil will be shipped to Southeast Asia. "The Amur Region is the leader in the production of soybeans in Russia and our agricultural holding grows soybeans in our own Amur fields. Soybean oil is produced from raw materials of Amur Region origin, which means that it is non-GMO. It is the very indicator that is highly appreciated in the Asian market and, in particular, Vietnam", – the source said.

The "ANK" Agroholding is one of the key players in the agricultural market of the Amur Region, the annual harvest reaches 35 thousand tons of ecologically clean Amur soybeans. Since 2017, soybean oil within the holding has been produced by the "Soya ANK" Oil Extraction Plant, which also produces soybean meal. The annual production capacity of the first production line is 50 thousand tons of soybean meal and 10 thousand tons of oil. The second line produces up to 15 million 1-liter bottles of refined soybean oil.
